Speaking at the signing ceremony, Djohan Henry, PPDI Chair for the Special Region of Yogyakarta, described the cooperation as a strategic move to enhance the quality of construction materials in Indonesia. He noted that OYH is seen not only as a supplier, but also as a long-term partner in helping upgrade national building quality standards, adding that OYH’s technologies have been proven in multiple countries.

Herry Purnomo, PPDI Chair for Central Java Province, said the partnership will strengthen quality assurance for developers participating in PPDI programs. “This is an important milestone for PPDI as we introduce world-class waterproofing and construction materials,” he said. “Going forward, developers will have greater confidence in building quality and long-term durability.”

PPDI noted that the cooperation goes beyond a conventional commercial relationship. It is intended to facilitate technology transfer, raise building safety standards, and enhance the international competitiveness of Indonesia’s construction industry.

Denny Porton, Sales Manager for the Indonesia market at OYH Overseas Development Group, said the cooperation is expected to improve overall project quality while also supporting workforce capability building—particularly professional skills in waterproofing and coatings. OYH Indonesia will provide training aligned with global standards, helping ensure products are applied by qualified professionals in accordance with standardized construction practices.

Li Zhiyong (Amco Li), General Manager of OYH Indonesia, also emphasized that the full performance of global-grade products can only be realized when they are applied by installers who have undergone standardized training and possess the required professional competence—thereby creating greater value for Indonesia’s development.

The signing has received broad attention from local communities and media. Indonesian outlets including LIPUTAN6 and RMOLJATENG published dedicated coverage of the ceremony and the cooperation framework.

Since entering the Indonesian market in 2021, OYH has expanded from establishing a representative office to forming a local legal entity, and from trading operations to site selection and factory development. Through local manufacturing, local delivery and application, local tax contributions, and local employment, OYH continues to deepen its roots in Indonesia and advance a compliance-driven localization strategy—supporting ongoing improvements in construction quality.

In late 2025, to further implement its Asia-Pacific strategy and strengthen localized operations and cross-entity collaboration across its overseas business, Hu Zhongqiu (Nancy), Vice President of OYH Overseas Development Group, and Li Zhiyong (Amco Li), General Manager of PT Oriental Yuhong Indonesia, led the Indonesia team in in-depth discussions with local partners, operations teams, and key institutions. The exchanges focused on strategy execution in the Indonesian market, the rollout of priority projects, and long-term investment planning. The visit further advanced OYH’s Asia-Pacific footprint and localization efforts, and also marked substantive progress in cooperation with Indonesian government authorities and key state-owned enterprises.

As an integrated construction materials systems provider, OYH remains committed to its vision of “becoming the most valuable enterprise in the global building materials industry.” The company continues to strengthen its technology platform and deepen expertise in its core specialty areas. Looking ahead, OYH will continue to respond to evolving market needs in Indonesia, expand localized R&D and its local footprint, and support the growth of Indonesia’s construction sector with high-quality products and professional services—creating shared value and delivering win-win outcomes.
