OYH at the 17th International Infrastructure Investment & Construction Forum
The 17th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum & Exhibition was recently held in Macao. OYH Overseas Development Group Vice President Sunny Fu and International Engineering Business Enablement Center General Manager Kou Jianan attended the forum on behalf of OYH.
During the forum, Sunny Fu delivered a keynote address under the theme "New Ecosystems, Models, and Technologies in International Mining Cooperation," sharing OYH's observations and practices in international mining construction.

The global energy transition, growing demand for critical minerals, and the deepening commitment to low-carbon development are collectively creating new opportunities for international mining construction. At the same time, mining projects today face higher expectations across environmental standards, durability performance, complex site adaptability, and localized service delivery.
Drawing on industry trends and OYH's own experience, Sunny Fu highlighted three shifts shaping international mining construction: ESG principles are becoming deeply embedded across the full investment, construction, and operations lifecycle; the industry is moving from expansion-driven growth toward optimization of existing assets, with rising demand in mine upgrading, tailings management, and ecological restoration; and the rapid growth of new energy and advanced materials industries is driving increased infrastructure demand around critical minerals such as copper, lithium, nickel, and cobalt.
In response to these shifts, OYH continues to expand the application of its material systems in mining construction — evolving from material supply toward integrated system services and comprehensive solutions. Built around the demanding conditions of mining projects, including complex site environments, stringent environmental requirements, and high durability standards, OYH has developed a full suite of solutions spanning industrial protection, transportation infrastructure, and geotechnical waterproofing. These solutions are applicable to industrial buildings, steel structures, storage tanks, pipelines, tailings ponds, pit liners, and associated support facilities.
OYH has steadily advanced its international presence in recent years, serving projects across iron, lithium, nickel, and copper-cobalt mining sectors. To date, OYH has completed services for over 60 international mining projects.
Looking ahead, OYH will continue to focus on client needs, technical innovation, and localized service capabilities — raising the standard of comprehensive project delivery worldwide and working alongside industry partners to advance international mining construction toward safer, more durable, and more sustainable outcomes.
